Falling in love with London
by sineadcrowe
This weekend I took a trip to London, originally for an interview but I thought hey, why not make a long weekend of it.. places to be, people to see and all of that.
I’ve only ever been to London before for day trips to the usual places, Oxford St, Museums and to see a show. So this weekend gave me the opportunity to explore other places and get a taste of what London living is like, and I loved it!
On friday night we went for wine and pizza at Bunga Bunga, a quirky Italian restaurant in Battersea which turns into a club later in the night. The food was delicious and there was a great atmosphere, we didn’t opt for cocktails but they come in all shapes and sizes.. literally. There’s a leaning tower of Pisa, a Colosseum and a Fiat 500 among others.

On saturday we went shopping in Chelsea on the Kings Road and after a quick nap we headed out to the Artesian Well in Clapham. I have to say my first night out in London did not disappoint, I’ll definitely be back!

To end the weekend we went for an amazing roast at a little pub nearby which was the perfect hangover cure, then headed to the ship where there was live music and the drinks were flowing. The ultimate Sunday fun day!
Now I am definitely in need of a good nights sleep but counting down the days till I’m back!

Hello! I could have sworn I’ve been to this site before but after reading through some of the post I realized it’s new to me. Nonetheless, I’m definitely glad I found it and I’ll be book-marking and checking back frequently!
